Yeast Post-translational Modification Proteomics Analysis
Protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) refer to chemical modifications of proteins during or after translation. Protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) increase the functional diversity of the proteome by adding functional groups such as phosphate, acetate, amide or methyl groups to proteins and affect nearly all aspects of normal cell biology and pathogenesis. Post-translational modifications of proteins play key roles in many cellular processes, such as cell differentiation, protein degradation, signaling, regulation of gene expression, and protein interactions. Protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) typically include phosphorylation, glycosylation, ubiquitination, nitrosylation, methylation, acetylation, lipidation and proteolysis. Therefore, the characteristics of PTMs (including modification classes and modification sites) are crucial in cell biology and other studies.
Service introduction
Creative BioMart uses multiple mass spectrometry platforms combined with Nano-LC to provide yeast post-translational modification identification services for scientific researchers. Free consultation is welcome.
Yeast post-translational modification proteomics analysis service we can provide
Sample requirements
- Yeast cell sample 5 x 107~108
- Protein sample > 800 μg
- Yeast samples were collected and shipped on dry ice.
Our advantages
- Comprehensive
- Efficiency
- Exploratory
- Complete and comprehensive analysis report (and publication-level graphic display).
- We can negotiate and determine the content of customized information analysis according to the needs of clients.
It takes all the proteins of the entire yeast cell as the research object, and the research content includes all the proteins with life functions in the cell.
It takes into account a variety of variables in a single trial, overcoming the drawbacks of adding variables incrementally in classical biology.
It takes all proteins in the cell as the research object, and it is easier to find unknown protein modification sites and modified proteins.
Application direction
- Cell identification, proliferation, differentiation, cycle, apoptosis.
- Signaling
- Immune response
- Epigenetic
- Metabolic regulation
- Biotic stress
- Reproductive development
