Yeast Three-Hybrid (Y3H) System Service
The yeast three-hybrid system is mainly used to study more complex macromolecular interactions including three components, providing a new method for the study of protein-protein, RNA-protein, and small molecule-protein interactions.
The three-hybrid system has a wide range of applications. 1. This system can be used to analyze and determine the precise domain of RNA-protein action, even a single nucleotide or amino acid residue. 2. It is used to identify and clone proteins that combine with important physiological functions of RNA (such as transcription, location, RNA virus packaging and infection, etc.), and can be used for regulatory mechanism research, disease prevention, and antiviral drug research and development. 3. By constructing a hybrid RNA library, RNA that binds to a specific protein can be screened. 4. On this basis, it is possible to develop a four-hybrid system to study the interaction between RNA-RNA.
