Yeast RIP - seq Analysis
RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (RIP - seq) is a technique of RNA co-immunoprecipitation (RIP) combined with high-throughput sequencing to capture interacting RNAs by immunoprecipitating target proteins. The principle is to use specific antibodies to co-immunoprecipitate RNA-binding proteins or specially modified RNAs, and then separate and purify to obtain RNAs bound to the complex. Finally, the information analysis of the target RNA is realized by high-throughput sequencing.
The combination of RIP technology and high-throughput sequencing can help researchers understand the dynamic process of post-transcriptional regulatory networks at the genome-wide level, study the RNA regions or species that are specifically bound by specific proteins on a whole-transcriptome scale, and can compare multiple differences between samples.
