Yeast Detection Service for Signal Peptide Secretion
The signal peptide secretion yeast detection test is mainly to observe whether the signal peptide performs the secretory function. The basic principle is very simple. First, construct the coding region of the gene carrying the signal peptide structure and the signal peptide region into a vector containing the invertase gene SUC2, but SUC2 lacks methionine and signal peptide; then transform a yeast strain that is negative for invertase; Finally, use whether the polysaccharidase monosaccharide can be used as a carbon source to grow and observe the 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) reduction color reaction to determine whether the signal peptide performs the secretory function.
