Small RNA Sequencing and Analysis Service of Yeast
Yeast, as a widely used model organism, is of great significance to food, medicine and industrial production. At present, the research on yeast coding genes is more in-depth and extensive, but the research on smallRNA is still in its infancy.
Small RNA refers to endogenous non-coding RNA with a length of 18-30 nt, which is divided into three categories: microRNA (miRNA), small interfering RNA (siRNA) and RNA that interacts with piwi (piRNA). It is an important regulator of life activities. They control gene expression by silencing and degrading their target gene molecules. They play an important role in biological processes such as individual development, metabolism, and disease occurrence.
Next-generation sequencing technology provides a new and unique research platform suitable for deep identification and quantitative analysis of small RNA in yeast. Through in-depth sequencing, it is possible to discover, identify and quantify the small RNA map at the whole genome level of yeast, which advances the research on the function of small RNA.
Service introduction
Through the established yeast technology platform, Creative BioMart can perform deep sequencing and quantitative analysis of all small RNA in yeast cells. If you have related needs, please contact us.
Application area
- Studies on post-transcriptional regulation of yeast genes
- Yeast gene silencing research
- Yeast small RNA target analysis and regulatory network
Sample requirements
- Total RNA ≥10 μg, concentration ≥ 200 ng / μl (complete and non-contaminated RNA)
- Small RNA (< 200nt) ≥ 1 μg, concentration ≥ 20 ng / μl
Please put the sample in a 1.5 ml tube, indicate the name, concentration and preparation time of the sample on the tube, and seal the tube with parafilm. Before shipping, fix all sample tubes in 50 ml centrifuge tubes with caps and ship them on dry ice.
