RNA-seq of Yeast without Reference Genome
Transcriptome in the narrow sense is the collection of all mRNA produced by a certain species or a specific cell type. Yeast transcriptome sequencing can study yeast gene expression and gene structure from the overall level, revealing the molecular mechanism of specific biological processes. It has been widely used in basic research, clinical diagnosis, drug research and development, molecular breeding and other fields.
Based on the illumina sequencing platform, Creative BioMart uses the illumina Hiseq platform to sequence the transcriptome of yeast without a reference genome, and sequence all yeast RNA transcribed in a specific state, and splice the longest transcript as unigene. Take unigene as a reference sequence for transcript assembly and annotation, and comprehensively analyze gene expression level and structural information.
