Label-free Proteomic Analysis of Yeast
Quantitative proteomics is an analytical chemistry technique that uses mass spectrometry platform to detect the relative content of proteins in a sample. Label free proteome quantification technique is a protein quantification technique that does not rely on isotope labeling. This technology detects protein digested peptides by LC / MS, and analyzes mass spectrometry data generated during large-scale protein identification. Compare the number of mass spectrometry analyses or mass spectrometry peak intensities to analyze changes in protein quantity in samples from different sources. The frequency with which a peptide is captured in the mass spectrum is considered to be positively correlated with its abundance in the mixture. Therefore, the counts of proteins detected by mass spectrometry reflect the abundance of proteins, and the mass detected counts can be linked to the amount of proteins through appropriate mathematical formulas to quantify proteins.
Service introduction
Creative BioMart provides customers with label - free proteome quantification service for yeast. If you have any needs in this regard, please feel free to contact us. Our researchers have many years of experience in this field. They can quickly understand the project situation through a simple description, and quickly formulate a feasible research plan according to customer needs, saving time for the advancement of the project.
Sample requirements
- Yeast ≥ 50 mg, or cell number ≥ 5×106
- Sample information sheet (the source, content, status and other basic information of the sample should be filled in in detail).
Storage and transportation
- Store in liquid nitrogen or -80°C.
- Transport on sufficient dry ice to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Delivery content
- An experimental report, including specific experimental procedures and proteome identification and quantitative results (bioinformatics analysis).
Project cycle
- The operating cycle of the standard process is 40 working days.
Service process
Technical advantages
- No need to add labels, preserve the authenticity of the sample to the greatest extent
- Simple processing steps and low cost
- Not limited by the number of labels, multiple samples can be analyzed simultaneously for protein quantification
