Genomics Sequencing and Analysis Service of Yeast

Genomics Sequencing and Analysis Service of Yeast -Creative BioMartYeast genome sequencing can be divided into yeast genome scanning, yeast genome fine map and yeast genome resequencing.

Yeast genome scanning is the study of obtaining a yeast genome framework map by sequencing yeasts with or without reference genomes through high-throughput sequencing technology. It can also carry out gene function annotation, comparative genomics and phylogenetic research based on the yeast genome framework map.

Yeast genome fine-grain sequencing, that is, de novo sequencing, means that a certain yeast species can be sequenced without any existing sequence information, and the sequence can be assembled by means of bioinformatics analysis. At present, second-generation sequencing combined with third-generation sequencing are commonly used to obtain fine-grained genome maps. Then, based on the fine map of the yeast genome, gene function annotation, comparative genomics and phylogenetic studies can be carried out.

Yeast genome resequencing is a high-throughput sequencing study based on yeast species with known reference genomes, generally focusing on genome variation (SNP, InDel, etc.), and group studies can also be performed. At the same time, it pays attention to a large number of single nucleotide polymorphism sites (SNP), insertion / deletion (InDel), structure variation (SV) and other variation information.
